Roberta Ezell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on Feb. 6, 2026.
Roberta Elaine Rogers Ezell was born on March 31, 1940, and passed on February 3, 2026, in the loving presence of her daughter, Sue Ezell Spencer, and lifelong friend, Pam Hinote.

Roberta had a deep love for reading, singing, and art -particularly inspired by the vibrant hues of purple. She especially cherished time spent with those she loved; she was always social, joking, and added her small quips of humor to a conversation. Along with being from Florida, she also spent many meaningful years in South Carolina, where she wove lasting friendships and a strong sense of community that profoundly enriched her life.

She enjoyed happy years with the love of her life, Alfred "Al" Ezell -he adored her cooking, and she truly loved to cook for him and others.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Ellen (Pat) Spencer; son, Zach Michael "Mike" (Bethany) Ezell; her grandsons, Stephen (Lisa) Spears, Aaron (Aja) Carver; granddaughters, Stacey (Andy) Childress, and Ashley (Brandon) Lester and many other loved ones.

Roberta was preceded in death by her loving husband, "Al", daughter, Cindy Mitchell; granddaughter, Heather Baesman; great-grandson Bentley Floyd as well as many friends and family members who loved, adored, and cherished her.

She touched countless hearts and was deeply loved by many. Her family finds peace in knowing she is now resting in God's care, free from pain and suffering. She will be greatly missed until the day they are reunited again.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, including a graveside service at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery at 1 pm. Fellowship will follow at 4641 Red Oak, Milton, Florida, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Roberta's life.
