Our beloved Michael Anthony Castro age 69, resident of Taylor Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 9th, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio T. Castro, Mother, Mary P. Castro and brother Rudy Castro.
Michael is survived by his wife, Pat Segura-Castro, his son, Jeffrey Michael Castro and his two beloved dogs, Chief and Bella. His siblings, Tony Castro (Bertie), Marie Ramirez (Richard), and Frank Castro; and numerous nieces and nephews in addition to many other loving family and friends.
Michael’s greatest passion and joy was baseball. He loved playing baseball from the time he was a child through his adult life. He never missed a game he could watch. When it comes to baseball, he will be remembered for the passion of the game and his dedication to coaching and mentoring those who would seek him out. Michael will be missed but his lessons and his love for the game will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know him.
