Michael Anthony Cisneros

Michael Cisneros, a beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on March 30th, 2024 in Las Cruces New Mexico. He was born on October 29th, 1962 in Silver City and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
Michael's life was defined by his unwavering love for his family. His ex-wife Julie Chavez; his children Brandon Cisneros and his fiancé Jocelynn Zazueta; Michelle Cisneros and her fiancé Peter Bolivar as well as his grandchildren Michael, Ava, Nevaeh and Jaime meant the world to him. He found immense joy in spending time with them and creating lasting memories that will live on through generations.
A sports enthusiast at heart, Michael had an undying passion for football and baseball. Whether he was cheering from the stands or playing catch with friends and family members, the thrill of these games brought him endless happiness. His devotion to the Dallas Cowboys football team and Los Angeles Angels baseball team was unparalleled - their victories were his victories.
But beyond all else, it was Michael's selfless nature that truly set him apart. Known for being generous to a fault, he would have given anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. His kindness touched countless lives throughout the years.
In addition to being a loving family man and sports fanatics extraordinaire, Michael adored nothing more than spending quality time with his grandchildren - watching them grow brought immeasurable joy into his life.
He was preceded in death by his father Sonny Cisneros, mother Katherine Graziano, sister Michelle Cisneros & brother Steve Graziano
He is survived by two brothers Patrick Cisneros (Annette Cisneros and children) and Danny Graziano (and children) and his "Compa" Fernando Castillo who will continue to carry forward fond memories of their dear brother.
The loss of Michael has left an unfillable void in our hearts but we take solace in knowing that he is now at peace alongside loved ones who have gone before him.
Rest easy now dear friend; your memory will forever remain etched within our souls until we meet again someday
The Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, April 9 at 10:30 am with Deacon Art Gutierrez reciting at Santa Clara Catholic Church. The memorial mass will follow with Father Casmir Anozie officiating. Concluding service and inurnment will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
