Michael Lewis Cleckler

Michael Lewis Cleckler, 73, of Clanton, Alabama passed away November 28, 2024, at his residence in Clanton, Alabama.
He was born September 17, 1951, in Alabama, son of the late Lewis Cleckler and the late Annie Pearl Cleckler Driver.
He was a Contractor. He is better known as "The Mike". He was a loving Father, Brother, and devoted Husband for 50 years to the love of his life, Nelda Cleckler. He spent his time cheering for Auburn Football and also enjoyed spending his time outdoors hunting. His grandchildren and his dog Sadie, were his pride and joy.
Surviving are his Wife, Nelda Cleckler; Daughters, Navita (Dennis) Ellison, Angie (Brad) Mahan, Cherie (Jonathan) Barnett; Sons,Jeremy (Renee) Cleckler, Michael (Emma) Cleckler; 11 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Heath (Kristy) Driver, Sister, Dian (Jimmy) Smith; A host of other family; and beloved dog Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Lewis Cleckler; Mother, Annie Pearl Cleckler Driver; Brother, Harold Cleckler; Sister, Sherry Cleckler.
Friends will be received Monday, December 2, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Lime Springs Methodist Church with Rev. Barney Mims, Rev. Calvin Smitherman officiating.
Interment will follow in Lime Springs Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
