Michael Anthony Clites, 48, passed away March 17, 2025. He was born on March 11, 1977 in Akron, the son of Susan and Larry Clites. Mike will always be remembered as a person who was always willing to help others. He was hard working and resourceful. He always left a strong impression and was a good influence to others around him. From time to time he could be considered stubborn, but all that melted away when it came to his grandchildren. Mike will always be remembered as a great paw paw. He would go on evening fishing excursions, trips to McDonalds, play video games, and board games, and even when he was tired and had played for most of the evening, he was ready for another round with his grandson Nate. In his free time, Mike enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, building cars, racing RC Cars, and riding his motorcycle or dirt bikes. He will be sadly missed. Mike is preceded in death by his aunts Teresa and Judy Craft; as well as uncles Jim and Mike Craft. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 29 years Tina Clites; daughters Kaylie (Blake) Clites, and Cierra (Ryan) Clites; sons Darrin (Autumn) Clites, Brendan Johnson, Aaron Keen and Austin Wood; grandchildren Nate, Brooke, Zabella, and Nolan; brother Paul (Sherrie) Clites; parents Susan Clites and Larry Clites; grandmother Janet Hartsock; uncle Tom Craft; and best friend Vince Silvestro; as well as many other family and friends. Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held for Michael on April 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM- 6:00 PM at Carovillese Lodge and Club 570 East Cuyahoga Falls Ave. Akron, OH 44310
