Michael “Mike” Wayne Coker, 66, of Robinson, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Born on September 29, 1958, to James William Coker and Rena LaRee Coker, Mike lived a life grounded in love, integrity, and a deep commitment to his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Marie Renea Coker; his son, Casey Wayne Coker, and daughter-in-law, Makayla Marie Coker; his beloved grandson, Johnathan Wayne Coker; and his sisters, Deborah Vickery and Lisa Carroll. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A lifelong cowboy and farmer, Mike was also a dedicated diesel mechanic for over 20 years. Known for his honesty, generosity, and unwavering work ethic, he was a man who could always be counted on. Mike found joy in riding his Harleys, tending to his land and cattle, and spending quality time with those he loved. His passions were simple but deeply meaningful—family, friends, music, and the freedom of the open road.

More than anything, Mike was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, always ready with a smile, a kind word, or a helping hand. To know him was to admire his quiet strength and his big heart. Though affectionately called “Quiet Mike,” those who knew him best understood there was nothing quiet about the way he lived or loved.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Robinson, Texas. A funeral service celebrating Mike’s life will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same location, followed by interment at Robinson Cemetery.

Mike’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever cherished.

Pallbearers: Aaron Stanley, Johnny Dodd, Marion (Beef) Curry, Dustin Trojanowsky, Drew Reed, Jason Kevil.

Honorary Pallbearer: Duane Dziedzic.
