Michael David Cole

Michael was born in Tempe March 15,1956 to Noel & Lucille Cole - Passed away on November 8, 2025

Michael "Mike" David Cole was a longtime resident of Phoenix. He is preceded by his Father, Noel Cole, Mother, Lucille Westfall & Stepfather, Homer "Westy" Westfall. He is survived by his brother, Gary Cole, and sister, Steffani (Tom) Bontems, along with their children. Mike attended Catalina Elementary, Alhambra High School & GCC.

Mike worked most of his life as an electrician, a licensed electrical contractor in the State of Arizona, and had a passion for learning. He also had a passion for teaching others in the electrical trade and taught the National Electrical Code at Phoenix College for two years and for the IAEI for many more years. He also specialized in electrical power quality systems. Mike was a very active member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). Mike loved all animals and was the owner of a kennel who rescued many dogs over the years. Another lifelong joy for Mike was music. He was a big fan of the 70's and 80's style, especially the Eagles with Hotel California as a favorite). While he did not serve in the military, he was very supportive of all of our military and always made a point of letting military know how much he appreciated them and their service. Many thanks to family and friends for their friendships over Mike's lifetime. Special thanks go out to Mike's longtime friends, Mark C. Ode, Michael Johnston, Michael and David Pearson, Mike Gutmacher and Jim McLaughlin for sticking by his side during his struggles with illness. Mike will be missed by many.
