Michael John Connelly, 79

Michael John Connelly died September 18, 2025. He was born April 2, 1946 in Highland Park, Michigan. A resident of Okeechobee for more than 50 years, he was a member of Community Church of Basinger. He enjoyed baseball, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Connelly was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Beatrice Connelly; and his older sister, Patricia Connelly.

He is survived by his daughters, Robin Lamb (Robbie), Michelle Bishop (William), and Jamie Connelly; nine grandchildren, Kyla Martinez, MaKayla Connelly, Gavin Lamb, Megan Connelly Surls, Trevor Connelly, Riley Bishtop, Savannah Ledford, Janell Harriott, and Evan Bishop; brother, Robert Connelly, of Dickson, Tennessee; and sisters, Carol Brand, of Dickson, Tennessee, and Kathleen Brabant, of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home.
