Michael John Conroy

Conroy, Michael (Mike), age 70, of Prior Lake died peacefully on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2024. He is survived by his wife Mary of Prior Lake, sister Kathy of Minneapolis, and a large family of in-laws including brothers and sisters-in-law Bill (Cheri) Kunshier, Tom (Terry) Kunshier, Deb (Greg) Houle, Connie (Steve) Mueller, Lorry (John) Grove, and Birdy (Steve) Dahl. Mike was born June 30, 1954, in Minneapolis. He attended Our Lady of Grace Grade School and Edina High School in Edina. In college, he studied engineering and earned an associate degree at Normandale Community College in Bloomington and a B.A. at Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis. Mike worked as a software engineer at Entrust (formerly DataCard) for 44 years, where he made lasting friendships. Mike met Mary Kunshier through good friends, and they were married on October 17, 1992, at the Church of St. Peter in Forest Lake. They moved to their lakeside home in Prior Lake in 1993. Mike enjoyed boating, shooting sports, and cars.
A loving husband and loyal friend, Mike was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Marystown Catholic Church, 15850 Marystown Road, Shakopee, MN 55379, at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 8, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Private Interment.
