Michael Cook Obituary
Viewing: Thursday, January 1, 2026, 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm at Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home.
Interment: Washington Memorial Garden, Decatur, GA.
The loving memories of Mr. Cook will be forever cherished by his loving wife, Renee Cook, and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
Family and Friends are asked to assemble in the chapel at 12:30 pm.

I want acknowledged that when my daughter Beverly and I made the move to Georgia Micheal welcomed us to be apart of the Friendship Community choir with opened arms. We will never forget his kindness that he made us feel apart of. He always acknowledge our presences with a warm welcome and made sure we were okay. Michael was my brother in law for years and though he and my sister divorced he always said I would always be his sister. Praying for the family and I know that all things worked together for his good. Present with The Lord

My sincere condolences to his family. I got to know Mike a long time ago. He sang The Lords Prayer at my wedding almost 45 years ago. He was a good man who, I'm sure, will be greatly missed.

To Mike's Family, I will never forget how Mike sang , Center of my Joy.
My favorite, for some reason, when I left church last Sunday, I just started singing his song. God is good.
