Michael Creed

Michael Howard "Mike" Creed, 66, of Burlington, Washington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with late-stage congestive heart failure. He went to be with the Lord surrounded by love.
Mike was born on August 2, 1958, in Renton, Washington, to David and Darlene (Hundley) Creed. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local 0174 and worked for many years as a cargo handler at BMC West. In addition to his career, he was highly skilled in plumbing and facilities maintenance.
Mike's greatest joy was spending time with family, and he was the life of every gathering. Known for his quick wit and generous heart, he had a unique way of making each person feel like his "favorite." He gave everyone silly nicknames, told unforgettable jokes, and kept the room laughing. An avid Elvis Presley fan, Mike was well known for his spot-on Elvis impersonations, which he used often to entertain loved ones.
In his later years, Mike enjoyed relaxing in the backyard with a cigarette and a beer, listening to sports radio. A die-hard fan of the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners, he could recall player stats from memory and loved discussing the games.
Mike is survived by his siblings, David Creed, Marianne Perkins, Dorthy Creed-Williams, Joseph Creed, Margie Tsuffis, Samuel Hughes, and Phyllis Hughes; his beloved stepmother, Edith Creed; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and his cherished cat, Dairy.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Howard Creed; mother, Darlene Hundley; and sister, Cathy Creed.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In honor of Mike's memory, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
