Michael D. Crehan, of Braintree, passed away on April 19, 2025. He was 72.
Born in Weymouth, Michael was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Curry) Crehan.
He was a 1970 graduate of Weymouth High School. Michael worked for many years for the Commonwealth of Mass as a Supervisor.
He was a 40-year member of the Sons of Italy in Weymouth and also a former Trustee for the Weymouth Lodge of Elks. In his spare time Michael enjoyed following his Boston sports teams, especially the Boston Red Sox. He also played football for Weymouth High School, enjoyed running and also played softball with the Commercial House Pub in the outfield. He was an avid golfer and a long-time member of South Shore Country Club.
Michael will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him. He was a best friend to many of his friends.
Brother of the late Joanne Serighelli and her surviving husband, Peter, of Hanover.
Uncle of Lori Brady and her husband, Terrence, of East Bridgewater and Denise Braun and her husband, Chris, of Plymouth. Also survived by one great niece and three great nephews and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 5/1/2025 from 10-12 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square), followed by a service at 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael may be made to Jimmy Fund, 1309 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA 02446.
