Michael Edward Cromer, 68, of Anderson, husband to Ann S. Cromer, passed away November 15, 2024.
Michael was a native of Gaffney, South Carolina. He was a Senior Project Manager at Duke Energy, where he retired after 38 years of service. Michael also served in the Army and National Guard where he finished his service as a Captain. Michael's favorite hobbies were playing golf with his buddies, fishing, and duck hunting with his son, Corey. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved sharing those times with his grandchildren, family, and friends.
Michael is survived by his wife of thirty years, Ann S. Cromer, sons, Corey Cromer and Jeff Hunter and wife, Leslie; grandchildren, Morgan Hunter and Grayson Hunter; brother, Stephen Cromer; sisters, Sheila Yelton and Sherri Watson.
He is predeceased by his parents, Joe Edward Cromer and Doris A. Bright and sister, Sandra Grooms.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Army Funeral Honors at a later date.
