Michael David Cryan,

70 years old, of Tyngsboro, MA, Boynton Beach, FL, Died May 3, 2025.

Michael was born on July 29, 1954 to Margaret Geneveive (Hurley) Cryan and Francis David Cryan and was brought up in Tyngsboro, MA. He graduated from Tyngsboro High School.

Michael enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served during the Vietnam Conflict, as a Fireman, on the USS Charles S. Sperry, based out of Pearl Harbor, HI

Mike’s first job was at six years old at Chisholm’s Mink Farm in Tyngsboro MA. He served as a volunteer fireman in the Tyngsboro Fire Department until he enlisted. He also worked as a mason.

After the service he worked with his brother John at Goodbrand Refrigeration. After retiring from HVAC, he took up long distance trucking in 18 wheelers and drove five million miles until his retirement in 2023.

He lived in the West Palm Beach area until settling in Boynton Beach FL in 2020.

Michael is survived by a wife, Victoria M. Cryan, a brother John F. Cryan, and three sisters, Patricia A. [and John] Martick, Helen M. Anctil, and Anne M. McDevitt. He has four nieces and nephews, seven grand nieces and nephews and one great grand-nephew. He also leaves dear friends, Edie and Ray Szymanski and Richard and Patricia Gauthier.

Michael will be laid to rest at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL on Tuesday, May 20, at 10:00 AM. Lane 5. The South Florida National Cemetery is located at 6501 S. State Rd 7. Lake Worth, FL 33449. The Funeral Director will conduct a brief ceremony at interment.
