It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael A. Curran, who departed this life on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born on May 18, 1950, in Rochester, a son of the late Fred and Charlotte Glogowski Curran.

Michael was a dedicated employee at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, where he worked as a die cutter. A member of the Byron Presbyterian Church, he also served his community with pride as a member of the South Byron Fire Department and was a member and past president of the Byron Kiwanis Club.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Nancy C. Gilully Curran. Together, they built a beautiful family, including their children, Kimberly Luther of Rochester and Kevin M. (Emily) Curran of Telford, TN. Michael was a proud grandfather to Kayla (Joshua) Forbes, William Luther, Andrew Curran, and Alexander Curran. He is also survived by his brother, Steven (Dorinda) Curran of Seattle, WA, sister, Christine (Vern) Packard of Rochester, his sister-in-law, Kathy Curran along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy Michael Luther, and his brother, Gary Curran.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 South Lake Avenue, Bergen, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A memorial service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at Byron Presbyterian Church, 6923 Main Street, Byron, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 am. Please note that there are no services on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Michael's memory to the South Byron Fire Department, P.O. Box 22, South Byron, New York 14557, the Byron Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 326, Byron, New York 14422, or to Byron Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 206, Byron, New York 14422.
