Michael D'Intino, age 90, passed away peacefully in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Born on May 8, 1935, in Castrovalva, Italy, Michael's life was a testament to hard work, perseverance, and devotion to family.
As a young man, Michael left Italy with his family and immigrated to the United States, arriving by ship through Ellis Island, New York. In 1951, he settled in
Attleboro, Massachusetts, where he made his home for the next 75 years and built a life rooted in family.
Michael proudly served in the Army National Guard. He was a skilled jewelry hand engraver by trade, working for Marathon Company and Jewel Cross, and operating his own jewelry engraving and cleaning businesses. Even in retirement, Michael remained active, enjoying part-time work with the New England Patriots and at Christopher Heights.
Michael was affiliated with St. John's Church in Attleboro. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, and cherished the annual hunting trips he shared with his son and family. He had a true gift for gardening and took great pride in growing exceptional vegetables. Michael also treasured the time he spent at his home on Cape Cod, a place he deeply loved and enjoyed.
Above all else, Michael's greatest love was his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and family man whose presence and dedication will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his children: Stella Brown and her husband Gregory of Cumberland, RI; Gina Clark and her husband Matthew of South
Attleboro, MA; Michael D'Intino and his wife Noelle of Cumberland, RI; and Denisa Costa and her husband Joseph of Taunton, MA. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Ivana D'Intino.
Michael is also survived by his grandchildren, Kyle Clark, MyKenzie Clark, and Gabriella D'Intino, who brought him great joy. He is survived by his sister, Filomena DiMatteo and her husband Rudy of Framingham and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Clara Luongo, Aldo D'Intino, Maria Cavaliere.
Michael will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love of the land, and unwavering commitment to his family. His legacy lives on through the generations he helped build and the lives he touched.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 8:30AM to 10:30AM in the Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:00AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 N. Main St., Attleboro. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Attleboro.
