Michael Robert Davis, 78, formerly of Warsaw, passed away at his son’s home in Columbus, OH on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Born on February 8, 1947 in Warsaw, IN, he was the beloved son of Robert “Bob” and Lois “Ginny” Davis. He attended Warsaw Community High School, after which he enlisted into the United States Air Force. He worked as a Morse Systems Operator and Radio Operator for the US Air Force from June of 1967 until being Honorably Discharged in June of 1973.
Mike was the manager of the American Legion Post #49 for many years and also the Post Adjutant until he retired. He was a past Post Commander and 2nd District Commander. Mike was an avid golfer and one of his favorite sayings was, “it never rains on the golf course”.
Michael is survived by his son Michael (Jennie) Davis, 2 granddaughters; Rylie and Kalyn, sister, Connie (Dan) Pickett, and companion, Cindy Brown.
A graveside service with Military Honors for Michael will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 12:00 pm in Legion Circle 3.
