Michael Del Priore Obituary
Born in Newark, Mike resided in Fairfield for most of his life before moving to Rockaway fifteen years ago.
He had been employed as a biologist at Myles Laboratories and was an owner Wildflowers Florist of Clifton for 22 years. More recently, he was working at the Shop-Rite Store in Rockaway.
Mike loved camping and the outdoors, including saltwater fishing especially in the Belmar area.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gerald M. and Rose Ann (nee Halbert) Del Priore.
Survivors include his brother, Thomas A. Del Priore and his devoted friend, Alison Vernicek; his lifelong friend Dave Betley and his family including Saralyn, Kyle, and Bridget; Alison's son Stephen and her granddaughter Reagan; Alison's brother Dave and his wife, Lisa; Alison's sister Lisa and her husband, Gary and Mike's cousin Carla.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2-4 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls with a funeral service at 3:00 pm. Mike will be laid to rest with his parents at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair. A celebration of life will be held in the sping. Memorial Contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, (www.PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).org), would be appreciated.

Mike and I worked together at Shop Rite.
He was a hard worker and very funny guy.
We will miss him dearly.
So sorry to the family and his girlfriend.
