It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Paul DeLoach, affectionately known as "Mike," who left this world on January 3, 2026, in Columbia, Tennessee. Born on November 29, 1976, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mike's life was a testament to service, love, and an unwavering dedication to his family.
Mike devoted a significant part of his life to public service, proudly serving in the Williamson County Sheriff's Department, the Spring Hill Police Department, and ultimately retiring from the Nolensville Police Department. His commitment to his community was evident in every interaction; he was a man who never met a stranger, always engaging with warmth and kindness.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mike was a craftsman at heart. He found joy in wood working and gunsmithing, often sharing his creations with those around him. These hobbies not only reflected his skills but also revealed his appreciation for precision and artistry. Nevertheless, it was his relationships that meant the most to him. He loved his family deeply, nurturing bonds that many could only aspire to achieve.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Brianne DeLoach, and their cherished son, Conner DeLoach. He will also be remembered fondly by his parents, Jim and Joyce DeLoach, and his brothers, James I. (Hope) DeLoach and Troy James Nelson-DeLoach. The love he shared extended to his in-laws, Terry and Derri Adkison, brother-in-law Wesley (Nicole) Marshall, and his grandparent in-laws, Hollis and Nancy Williams. Mike's legacy will continue through his many loving nieces and nephews and other family members who will forever keep his spirit alive in their hearts.
Mike was also proud to be a member of the Spring Hill Masonic Lodge, demonstrating his commitment to brotherhood and community service.
His beautiful son, Devin Michael DeLoach, predeceased him, and the remembrance of Devin will always hold a special place within the family, guiding them through their heartfelt memories.
As we gather to honor Mike’s life, we invite all who knew him to join us in celebrating his legacy. Visitation will take place at Heritage Funeral Home, 609 Bear Creek Pike Columbia, Tennessee, on January 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on January 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, leading into the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Bro.
