Michael T. Denistran

Michael T, Denistran, 80, passed away March 5, 2026. Born in Passaic NJ on August 2, 1945, Michael grew up in Garfield along with his three siblings. Predeceased in death by his parents Helen Chrzastek and Stephen Denistran. Also predeceased in death by his brother Stephen Denistran. Michael is survived by his brother, John and sister, Lorraine. He is also survived by his beloved Kathy Augustyn, son Michael and wife Michele, son Steven and girlfriend Jessica Mahtaban and four grandchildren, Michael, Brielle, Steven and Autumn. Michael was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked and retired from Local 14/24 Plumbers Union as a pneumatics controls specialist. He taught fifth year night school at the local in his free time. He was involved in charity work for the Veterans of past wars and held yearly country western dances at the VA hospitals in Lyons and Paramus NJ helping Veterans who were hospitalized. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday March 20, 2026, 10:00 am at Most Holy Name Church, 99 Marsellus Pl., Garfield followed by an Inurnment at St. Michaels Cemetery, 120 Saddle River Rd.
