Michael Denz Obituary
- January 15, 2024
Westminster, SC– Michael Aloysius Denz, 76, husband of Joanne Winter Denz, of Westminster, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC. A native of Buffalo, NY, Mr. Denz was the son of the late Charles and Irene Kuzma Denz. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a retired machinist/educator. In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his sons: Jeffery Michael Denz (Charis) and Michael Anthony Denz (and good friend, Johnie Sue); daughter: Eileen Marie Denz (Charles Bowman); brothers: Jerome Denz (Marlene) and James Denz; sisters: Patricia Gardner (Irvin) and Judy Tweedy (Michael); and grandchildren: Destiny, Forrest, Ash, Theo, Nausicaa. In addition to his parents, Mr. Denz was preceded in death by his brothers: Charles and Fredrick. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, Cottingham Hospice House, attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Dr., Seneca, SC 29672; or Oconee Humane Society, 1925 Sandifer Blvd., Seneca, SC 29678. The family is at their respective homes.

Mr. Denz, you took my pictures at my wedding back in 1975. Lost contact throughout the years. Decided to try and find you and a friend sent me this today. So sad and so sorry for your passing. But I see life has been good to you you have children grandchildren. I'll never forget the awesome times in photography class.RIP
