Michael Dickerson

Michael Dean Dickerson, born June 12, 1954, in Corsicana, Texas, to Paul Dean Dickerson and Bertie Faye Cofey. He passed away peacefully on June 24,2025 at his home in Wortham Texas. Mike dedicated many years of his profession to welding, at Old City Ironworks before retiring as a welding supervisor in Arizona. He returned to Texas in 2013, where he and his late wife, Leslie Gail, shared countless cherished moments together.
Mike found immense joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He enjoyed being outside and fishing. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Leslie Gail Lotz, as well as his parents Paul Dean and Birtie Faye Dickerson.
Mike is survived by his daughter Crystal and her husband Justin Underwood, son Michael Shane and his wife Jodi Dickerson, and brothers Tim and Steve Dickerson. He leaves behind grandchildren Megan and Jack Cookston, Dusty Price, Samantha and Jacob Davis, Dalton Dickerson and Payton Dickerson, Taylor, Trent, Seth, and Noah Underwood, along with great-grandchildren Aubree Dickerson, Mattilynn, Bodee and Lainey Davis, Pecos and Jack Cookston and Stetson Price.
In celebration of his life, we invite all who knew him to gather at Staggered Ranch and the Underwood home on Sunday, July 6th at 2 PM to honor his memory with a celebration of life.
