Michael Daniel “Danny” DiMaio, 69 years old, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025.
Danny had a deep love for music and possessed a remarkable interest in United States geography. He also found great joy in outdoor gardening, a pastime that reflected his gentle nature. Those who knew Danny remember him as someone who cared deeply for others and appreciated life’s simple pleasures.
He is survived by his beloved son, Daniel DiMaio (Jennifer); his sisters, Cissy Pino and Donna DiMaio; his brother, Mark DiMaio (Sue); and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved deeply.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred DiMaio and Paul DiMaio, and his brother, Victor DiMaio (Vicki).
A celebration of life and a sendoff at sea in Danny’s honor will be announced later.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to hospice in his memory.
Danny will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
