Michael "Mike" J. Donohue, Sr., passed away on December 10, 2025. Born on September 30, 1945, to John and Mae Donohue, Mike lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication.
Mike graduated from Maumee High School in 1964. On St. Patrick's Day in 1980, he married the love of his life, Patricia Miller and together they spent 45 wonderful years, creating countless cherished memories.
An avid outdoorsman, Mike found joy in hiking, kayaking, and spending time with animals. His love for nature and adventure was evident to all who knew him.
Mike's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Mike is survived by his wife, Patricia Donohue; children, Brian (Heather), Julie, Michael Jr. (Sally) and Kimberly (Justin); 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Carol, Doris, John, Thomas, Janet, and Patricia
Funeral services will be private. An Irish Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would to extend a special thank you to Ohioans Home Healthcare & Hospice for special care. Their help with Mike was extremely appreciated. Arrangements by Maison-Dardenne-Walker, Maumee, OH. Memorial contributions may be directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
