Michael Dorn

Mike Dorn, age 79 of Holland passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Donna, his daughter, Missi and Cory Potter, his daughter-in-law Cathy and Joel Rodriguez, his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Michael and Cynthia Dorn (Jordan), Brandon and Melody Dorn (Anya, Auvey), Ty and Amber Potter, Cole and Aleah Potter (Jane), and Grace and Eli Van Singel, his brothers, Mark and Linda Dorn, Bob and Vicky Dorn, and Tom and Sandy Dorn, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Barb Michmerhuizen, and Diane and Butch Lievense. Mike was preceded in death by his son Scott Dorn, and his brother Bill Dorn. Mike graduated in 1964 from Holland High School and enlisted in the Air National Guard, he was called to active duty during the Detroit riots. He worked for S2 Yachts for 31 years and in his retirement, he delivered auto parts for NAPA. Mike enjoyed flyfishing, deer hunting, golf and working on old cars. Mike was a kind loving man, with a gentle spirit, he was full of faith and was very intentional with his relationships with others. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday, September 12, 2025, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland.
