Michael Doucet Obituary
Michael “Pa” P. Doucet, 76, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Mr. Michael is survived by his children: Jean-Paul Doucet (Alyce), Shanta Williams (Travis), Janae Bernard (Ian); grandchildren: Lainey, Alyssa, Landen, Avah, Kamryn, Madyson, Jacob, Caleb, Kason, Peyton; and siblings: Pamela Toups, Marlett Eilenberger.
Mr. Doucet was preceded in death by his parents: Wallace Doucet and Bernice Eymard Doucet; and brother: Garrett Doucet.
“Pa” was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and offshore tug boat captain that loved NASCAR with a passion for muscle cars and model boats.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Michael’s family asks for donation in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Friday, August 29th, 2025 from 9:00 until service time. Military Honors will be performed at 10:30 am with his funeral service beginning in the funeral parlor at 11:00 am with cremation following.
