PLATTSBURGH – Michael Duto, 71, of Hope Drive, passed away, March 28, 2026.
He was born in Plattsburgh on January 1, 1955. Following high school, Michael enlisted in the United States Army in 1972 and was Honorably Discharged in 1975.
Michael worked as a laborer for different companies throughout the North Country until his retirement.
In his spare time, he loved watching old war movies, traveling and especially fishing.
Survivors include his children, Justin Duto-Swinton and his husband Chuck Swinton and Michelle Duto and her companion Anthony Ciccone; and six grandchildren. He also leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
At Michael’s request there will be no public services.
