Michael R. Dutsch

Michael Roger Dutsch, 59, of Allentown, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, November 7, 2024. He is survived by parents, William and Charlotte (Mattice) Dutsch, of Bushnell NE, formerly of Allentown, brothers, Gary (Rebecca), of Virginia Beach VA, and Robert (Josephine), of Catasauqua, sister, Patricia Weaver (Dale), of Lenhartsville, twin sister, Michelle Childers (Tony), of Bushnell NE, and numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
Mike graduated from William Allen High School in 1983 and played trumpet in the great Allen High School Canary Marching Band. He graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 1985. He worked in food service for quite a few years as both a manager and owner/operator before leaving the food service industry and taking up car sales where he thrived for over 25 years.
Mike never knew a stranger and was a faithful friend. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Mike made sure his family knew that he did not want a sad funeral service; rather, he wanted a time for his family and friends to raise a glass and have a party in his memory. A Celebration of Life will be held at 8 PM Saturday, November 16th, at Strange Brew Tavern, 1996 S. Fifth St. Allentown 18103. Come honor Mike with your memories and stories.
