Michael Melvin DuVal, 75 of Peachtree Sun City GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his home surrounded by loving family.

Michael was born on March 14, 1950, in Crookston, Minnesota to the late Walter DuVal and the late Eileen Bogan DuVal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane Morin and in-laws Gene Morin, John Brolsma and Susan DuVal

Mike was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a wonderful sense of humor with a magnetic personality that would draw in a room. Michael was an avid sports fan and loved tennis, billiards and poker. Most of all, Mike loved his family. His memory will forever be cherished and his loving heart will ever live on.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marsha Brown DuVal; children and their spouses, David Cullen DuVal (Val), Daniel Bogan DuVal (Kasia), John Michael DuVal; grandchildren, Cullen DuVal, Brayden DuVal, Jaxten DuVal, and Quinn DuVal; siblings, Margaret Brolsma, William "Bill" DuVal, Sister Katherine DuVal , SSND and James (Linda) DuVal; sister-in-law Ruth Kelly (Joe) and brother-in-law Jim Brown (Maggie).

Mr. DuVal's funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:30am at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 591 Flint River Rd, Jonesboro GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Special Olympics of Forsyth County. Donations may be sent to Special Olympics Forsyth County, PO Box 2886, Cumming GA 30040 in memory of Michael DuVal.
