Michael J. Eble

Michael J. Eble, age 88, of Lexington, Kentucky, died Sunday, July 27, 2025. He was born in Louisville to Louise Grayot and Maurice J. Eble in 1936. Mike is survived by his wife, Juanita Stollings, and a brother, William G. Eble. He was a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Law, was an accomplished writer with articles published in multiple equine publications, as well as having written many political speeches. He loved horseracing and had worked as an agent buying and selling for many years. Mike enjoyed his many friends and sharing lively conversations on history, sports, horseracing and politics, along with stories and a poem or two.

Taken from one of Mike's favorite poems:

"I dream of romance and a song that rings,

Above the duller elemental things,

Not caring what happens to skies, grey or blue,

But to know that just one dream comes true."

A gathering of friends will be held at a later date.
