On Saturday August 16, 2025, Nancy Eble, loving mother of four children passed away peacefully at the age of 96 surrounded by family.
Nancy was born on November 17, 1928 to John C. and Insley (Howell) Lewis and was the sister of Suzanne Leaycraft (deceased). Nancy graduated from Benedictine Academy in Paterson NJ in 1947. She subsequently graduated from the Patrick Gibbs secretarial School and while working for the National Tube subsidiary of US Steel, Nancy met and married Harry L. Bialock (deceased) in 1952.
Together they have four surviving children, Jane Campbell Stoltenborg of Florida, Mary Insley Gall of Maryland, John Henry Bialock of Florida, and Mark Lewis Bialock of California. Nancy remarried Charles Eble (Deceased) in 1979.
Nancy was an active volunteer throughout her life. She worked with at risk children in Newark, NJ, volunteered at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton NJ for 12 years and into her 90's as a Meals on Wheels volunteer, even during the pandemic. She served as President of the Senior Church Choir for the Glen Ridge Congregational Church in Glen Ridge NJ.
Besides her children, Nancy's passions were dogs of which she had many during her life and golf. She was an accomplished golfer who played until she was 89 years old and was a member at Upper Montclair Country Club and Newton Country Club as well as Sugarmill Country Club in Homosassa Florida. Nancy also coached the girls' golf team for two years at Pope John High School in Sparta, NJ. Nancy was so proud of her two "Holes in Ones" during her golfing years.
Nancy was grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Zoom on October 4, 2025 at 12:00 Noon EST. Any donations can be made to the Citrus County Hospice in Florida.

Nancy and I had been friends since 1979. We played golf together. We played cards together we socialize together. We had a lot of good times and she will be missed.
