Michael Preston Edwards, known affectionately as Mike to his friends and family, passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 63, in his hometown of Spartanburg, SC. Born on June 1, 1961, Mike lived a life marked by kindness and a deep love for animals.
Mike will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Jeff Edwards, and sister-in-law, Linda Edwards, along with a community of friends who admired his generosity and gentle spirit. His passion for caring for homeless animals showcased his compassionate nature and his belief in giving back to those in need.
Mike's legacy is one of warmth, selflessness, and the joy he found in the simple act of helping a creature in need. His memory will continue to inspire those who knew him to live with an open heart. Mike's presence will be profoundly missed, yet his impact will remain a comforting and enduring presence in the lives he touched.
