Just saw about Arnold's passing! Had lost touch with him many years ago! I remember back to our childhood when we played at ma Beams' and in the neighborhood with Robert, Mark, and all the gang. Had thought about him just last week. I had to start taking shots, and remember when we went to the beach and he was giving himself shots in the thighs, which I may do sometimes also. My condolences to the family! Sorry I did not know of his passing in time to come to his service.

I have so many good memories with Arnold ! I knew him since early 80's, he was a good person with a kind heart and a Great friend to me. We saw Percy Sledge together. He loved my son and was always good to Ricky when he was young, he called him his little buddy. Ricky called Arnold one time when he was about 12 and told him we couldn't get our Christmas tree in the house it was to big! Arnold came over and cut it down to size in the door. My husband was so Thankful he did. When i moved to Boone He visited me and my family many times. I visited him,Tim,and Ruth in Dallas. We became family. I helped him get through the loss of his brother Tim, and he helped me through the loss of my son Ricky, more than going to miss Arnold.
The last time I saw him was at Long Creek Fish Camp, which was one of his favorite places to eat.
Prayers and Blessings Ruth
love you !
