Michael Navid Emami, 42, passed away on March 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.
Born on July 12, 1982, Michael embraced life with enthusiasm, always seeking new adventures and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. An outdoorsman at heart, he found solace in camping, hiking, and exploring the wild beauty of Alaska. He loved mudding, riding motorcycles, and taking his beloved Dodge Ram, Black Beauty, on countless road trips. Whether floating down the river, casting a fishing line, or working with his hands, Michael found joy in life's simple moments.
Above all, Michael was a devoted father-a proud girl dad who cherished every moment spent cheering from the sidelines, supporting his daughter in cheer, soccer, volleyball, and band. His greatest happiness came from seeing Breanna Emami smile. Among his many talents, he took special pride in making biscuits and gravy, a family favorite that will forever be remembered.
Michael built a career in the oilfield industry, where he found camaraderie and purpose. He was especially grateful for the opportunity given to him by his close friend and boss, Mark Lauzon. Beyond work, he dedicated time to motorcycle rides for his community and was a member of Life Church in Norman.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Breanna Emami, and his bonus daughters, Winter Williams, Brooklyn Biggs, and Trinity Irvin. He also leaves behind his father, Masoud Emami; sister, Misty Holder (James Webb); brothers, Ray Holder (Fawnetta Holder) and Keyon Emami; his cherished Morkie, Izzy; his best friend and boss, Mark Lauzon; and his close friends, Johny Collins and Austin Childers. He will be deeply missed by countless other family members and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Lynn Castro.
Known for his kindness, generosity, and easygoing spirit, Michael was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. His presence, laughter, and warmth will be forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
