Michael Wayne Espegren

Michael Espegren, 59, passed away on May 1, 2025, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Born on April 19, 1966, in Tampa, Florida, Michael lived a life centered around love for his family and a deep devotion to those closest to him. Michael shared 29 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Debra. Together they built a strong and loving home filled with warmth and laughter. He was a proud and devoted father to his children; Heather Arndt and family, Carrie Baker and family, Rob Babcock and family, Cathy Alfaro and family, and Patrick Espegren. His role as a grandfather brought him immense joy; he cherished every moment spent with his seven grandchildren. Family was everything to Michael. He held close bonds not only with his children and grandchildren but also with his siblings-brothers Bruce Espegren and Charlie Hall, and sister April Christensen. Though he mourned the loss of his parents, April Hall and Bruce Espegren, their memory remained an enduring presence in his life. Michael did many things throughout his life, but was best known for being a master carpenter and craftsman. Carpentry and woodworking his passion, he was dedicated to his craft. His work was featured in numerous publications to include Parade of Homes and was seen in housing additions all over the OKC metro area. Making dreams become reality and exceeding expectations brought him happiness. Michael's legacy is one of unwavering love and commitment to those he held dear. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and peace to those who loved him.
