On July 7, 2021, age 64, Acme, PA, and previously Carrick, entered into the eternal peace and comfort of God's arms. Survived by his children, Pamela (John) Waltz; Michael S. Farrell; adored granddaughter, Ada; and his sister, Michele C. Farrell. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas V. and Jennie A. Farrell. In addition to his children and granddaughter, Michael's annual portrayal of Santa, his quirky gifts, offbeat humor, and quest to make the next great deal will be the legacy by which we choose to remember a life gone too soon. Arrangements entrusted to Boron Funeral Home, Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15210. No viewing. The family will host a celebration of life ceremony at the funeral home on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 6 PM until his Services at 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 100 West Station Square Drive, Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

So sorry for the loss of such a great man. I got to know Mike at his store. He had a great personality and was so genuine towards his customers. His stories were so interesting he will be sadly missed.

Sorry to hear... Mike was our neighbor for 17 years and well known in the Bear Rocks Community. He shared many of his antiquing stories over the years and never missed an opportunity to share pictures of Ada. He was one proud Grandpa! He loved his cat Bootsie and came to visit our cat Tanger, always with a pocket full of treats. RIP Mike... Condolences to his family & friends.
