Michael Dwayne Ferguson

Michael Dwayne Ferguson, 62, of Lavalette, WV passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at his home. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026 at Shepard Cemetery in Lavalette with Brother David Adkins officiating. He was born August 15, 1963 at Huntington, WV, a son of the late Linda J. Ferguson Queen. Prior to being disabled, Michael worked in maintenance for the former Radisson Hotel in Huntington. Survivors include three sons, Michael Ferguson, Jonathan Ferguson, and Aaron Wilson; a sister, Meredith Shepard (Keith); a brother, Nathan Staley (Cassandra); two nephews, Shane Staley and Larry Shepard, III (Tess); great-nieces and great nephew, Madalynn Staley, Tristin Staley, Stella Shepard and Holly Shepard; aunts, Teresa Queen, Evelyn Adkins (Neil), and Sally Ferguson; uncles, Cullie Queen, and Cletis Queen (Georgie); a very special uncle, Gary Ferguson; and a cousin, Tim Ferguson. Morris Funeral Home, Wayne is assisting the family with arrangements.
