Michael Paul Ferrell, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, in Buchanan, Georgia, at the age of 61. Born on February 6, 1964, in Douglasville, Georgia, he was the son of Henry Grady Ferrell and the late Rebecca Dianne Sorrels Ferrell. In addition to his mother, Mike is preceded in death by a sister, Diana Lynn Biggers.

Mike lived a life filled with hard work and dedication, reflected in his long-standing career as the owner of Ferrell's Lawn Maintenance. For over 43 years, he served the Atlanta community with unwavering loyalty to his customers, building many cherished relationships along the way. A graduate of Haralson County High School in 1982, Mike was known for his diligent work ethic, always striving to remain busy and productive. He enjoyed playing baseball for the Corinth Community for many years. He had a special love for his grandchildren, who affectionately called him Pops, and enjoyed sharing stories and experiences with them, creating many wonderful memories together. One of Mike's fondest pastimes was riding around town in his old blue truck with his beloved dog, Mazie. He also had a passion for vintage cars, having helped restore a 1964 Chevelle with his dad.

Mike leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, April Bradley Ferrell; his daughter, Brittany Lauren Ferrell; his father, Henry Ferrell; his granddaughter, Lydia Hardin; his grandson, Zayne Armstrong; his sister, Janet & Mitchell McDowell; nephew, Ryan Biggers; and nieces, Amanda Patterson and Mackenzie McDowell, as well as many other extended family members. He is deeply missed by them and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In honor of his life, a Celebration of Life service will be held on January 7, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory in Buchanan, Georgia, with Reverend Kevin Ayers and Reverend Richard Brannon officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
