In 1975, the Flynn family moved to

A Life Remembered
Michael will be remembered for his sense of humor and unwavering kindness-qualities evident in his volunteer work at Little Friends of Naperville, where he helped children and adults with autism and other developmental and physical disabilities.
Michael was passionate about sports and enjoyed playing poker with his wife, Shirley. They were often found at home cheering on the Raiders or Notre Dame football, or at the local OTB, enjoying each other's company over competitive games of poker.
His legacy endures in the hearts of those who loved him and in the joyful memories he created for his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Meghan Flynn; his sister, Patricia (Barry) Dredze; his brothers, Jim (Debra) and Tom (Kim); stepsister, Gerri (Don); niece, Ally; nephew, Michael; and a community of extended family and other loved ones who will cherish his memory and continue to be inspired by his generosity and cheerfulness.
Though Michael will be deeply missed, we find comfort in remembering the laughter and joy he brought into our lives. His spirit will remain with us, encouraging us to seek happiness in every moment and to share kindness wherever we go.
