I am honored to have known and worked with Mike during his time as City Administrator in Valparaiso, Florida. My heart goes out to his family for their loss. He was truly a wonderful person.

I was honored to spend a few days with Col. Flynt at our Veteran Patriots Action Conference in Charleston, SC in 2016. Mike exemplified a quiet competence and smiling warrior demeanor. We wish Charlotte and family our deepest condolences.

We were shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of our dear friend and colleague. I'll always remember Mike as a Patriot and it is fitting for him to be buried at Arlington. Our memories of fun times with Mike and Charlotte are cherished.

Charlotte and Family,
Please know how very saddened we are at Mike's passing. Mike was such a tremendous person; a great leader, husband and father. He was also my very dear friend. I will miss his smile, hugs, care and generosity to our great county. He gave so much and was truly a living example of leadership. Please know Jeff and I are praying for all of you and holding you close to our hearts during this time.
