Col. Flynt was born on August 13, 1945 and passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017. Col. Flynt was a resident of Florida at the time of passing. Mike received his Bachelors of Science in Zoology from the University of Florida where he was in the Sigma Nu Fraternity and a member of MENSA. He was a United State Air Force Command Pilot, flying fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, who has received numerous accommodations and awards including the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal among many others. Funeral services will be held at Village Baptist Church, 101 Matthew Blvd., Destin, FL, on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10 am. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Northwest Florida State College Certificate and Training Programs or to Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, in Mike's memory. Friday December 29, 2017, 10:00 AM Village Baptist Church The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Please know how very saddened we are at Mike's passing. Mike was such a tremendous person; a great leader, husband and father. He was also my very dear friend.
