Michael Friday Obituary
Michael Wade Friday passed away February 17, 2025 at the age of 66. He was born March 30, 1958 to the late James Friday and Bettie Sue Rhodes Friday.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Felisha Williams and Melissa Wood and brother, Timothy Friday.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Friday; sons, Chris (Joy) Friday and Mike (Ashley) Young; son-in-law, Patrick Wood; grandchildren, Destiny (Derrick) Friday, Michael (Kolby) Williams, Drew (Regan) Friday, Wesley Friday, Waker Friday, Ethan Tanner, Hailey Tanner, Michael Young, III, Abigail Wood and Nicholas Wood; brothers, James Earl Friday, Jr. and Joseph Friday; great-grandchildren, Hadleigh Williams and Emery Jay Williams; sister, Anita Middlebrooks and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Lifepoint Community Church, formerly Billingsley Church of God with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church, beginning at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Drew Friday, Michael Williams, Wesley Friday, Henry Helms, Bucky Chance, Derrick Clark, Mike Young and Ethan Tanner. Honorary pallbearers will be David Ewing, Charles Tubbs.
