Michael Gaito, age 72, of Mashpee, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. Mike was raised and educated in Hull where he enjoyed the summers and countless memories growing up in that beach community. Mike served in the Marines during Vietnam and was a proud veteran, he was stationed at the South Weymouth Naval Air Station.
Mike worked in construction most of his life. He married his wife, Kathy, in 2013 and they have lived together in Mashpee ever since.
Mike is survived by his wife of thirteen years Kathleen Gaito (Tempesta) of Mashpee, and his children Billy Davidson of Weymouth, Paul O'Brien of Brockton, and Kelly Bottiglieri of Weymouth, his grandchildren Haley, Arianna, Max, and Louchi, and his brother-in-law Phil Tempesta.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Michael on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 10-11am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home following the visitation at 11am. Burial in Bourne National Veteran's Cemetery at 1:15pm.
