Michael is survived by his children; Maria Elena Solorzano of Summerville, SC; Michael Gallegos of Colorado Springs, CO; Regina Gallegos of Pueblo, CO; Shantel Maes of Colorado Springs, CO; and Carlos Cordova of Pueblo, CO; siblings; Debra Aragon of Denver, CO; Elizabeth Gallegos of Pueblo, CO; Mary Mercado of Colorado Springs, CO; Angela Gallegos of Denver, CO; Wayne Gallegos of Pueblo, CO; Jody Gallegos of NC, George Gallegos of Pueblo, CO; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He is proceed in death by his father, Alfonso Gallegos; mother, Ercilia Tafoya-Gallegos; wife, Stacie Ann Solorzano-Gallegos; sisters, Faith Avila and Hope Gallegos; brothers, Manuel Gallegos and Ronnie Tafoya; nephews, Manuel Gallegos and Drake Thomas.
He married Stacie on January 18, 1984. Michael loved the Denver Broncos, basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.
