Michael A. Gance, 67, of Vestal, NY was called home to be with Jesus on December 13, 2024. He is predeceased by his parents, Anthony Gance and Lillian Kozak, and his grandson Rocco. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Suzann, his son and daughter-in-law Santino and Erin, his granddaughters Francesca and Antonia, his step-mother Judia Gance Healy, and many extended family members.
Like many, Mike experienced his share of turmoil throughout the early part of his life, but found complete transformation when he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. From that point on, Mike never looked back. He lived a life filled with unshakable faith and without worry, as he never once doubted that God was always with him; it was remarkable to witness his fearless spirit. Mike was generous, not merely with his resources, but with his time, which he spent dedicated to the church and ministering to others, whether he knew them or not. He truly was the definition of a 'good and faithful servant', and his life was filled with blessings that proved it. From successful businesses to his beautiful family and rich friendships, Mike was well aware that everything in his life was a gift from God, to whom he was forever grateful.
A service with be held on Friday, December 20 at 12pm at City Church 255 Washington St. Binghamton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's name to the Hope Foundation of Binghamton binghamtonhopefoundation.com/hope-homes/ or Teen Challenge teenchallengeusa.org
