Michael K. Geeting

HUDSON – Michael Geeting, age 70 of Hudson, passed away at his residence late Tuesday, December 12, 2023. He was born in Hudson on October 10, 1953, to the late John and Mary Catherine (Roney) Geeting. Mike attended Sacred Heart School, and graduated from Hudson High School.
Mike was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He loved music and playing guitar. Mike faced many adversities in life, resulting from a car accident when he was young. His faith and determination allowed him to overcome his many obstacles and live independently for many years. His courage and good humor were ever present.
Left to cherish Michael's memory are his siblings, Joan MacLennan of North Adams, Janice (Aaron) Salinas of Hudson, and Richard (Char) Geeting of Adrian; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his many caretakers; Dawn, Bonnie, Brenda, and Kathy. The family thanks you ladies for taking such good care of Mike. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Robert, Patrick, and Stephen Geeting.
Visitation for Michael will take place on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Eagle-Marry Funeral Home in Hudson, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11:30 AM with visitation one hour prior. Fr. Todd Koenigsknecht will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
