Michael lived a full and adventurous life. After retiring, he devoted his time to the things he loved most-bird watching, playing chess, enjoying sports, strumming his guitar, learning many languages, and immersing himself in the beauty of nature and the outdoors. He had a deep interest in technology and a passion for traveling the world, experiencing cultures and places far and wide.
On March 21, 1997, Michael married the love of his life, Albertina, with whom he shared many cherished years. He is also survived by his stepdaughters, Angelica Mejia y Mima, Claudia Mejia, and Ada Mejia; his siblings, Doughlas Gephart, Linda Gephart, and Diana Gephart; and his beloved grandchildren, Mocica, Melanie, Camil, Esther, Josue, Sarahi, Pablo, Eunice, and Melissa.
Michael will be remembered for his curiosity, love of learning, and joy in life's simple and grand adventures. He touched the lives of those around him and leaves behind treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
