Michael Goins Obituary
Born in Stamford, New York, he was the son of the late Carl and Doreen Goins. Mike was previously the Chef for Triple "R" Ranch, Chesapeake and was currently employed with Summit at the Chesapeake City Jail. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Mathias "Vicki" Goins; his children, January Grape (Derek), Michael Goins (Meghan), Meg Miketinas (Nik); grandchildren, Jade, Emily, Aurora, N.J. and Gabriel; siblings, Carlton "Tex" Goins, Carleen Wells (Rosser), and Mark Goins; his mother-in-law, Margaret Tyndell, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Great Bridge Baptist Church, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, Chesapeake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael A. Goins Memorial Fund, for the future benefit of the Chesapeake Jail Ministry and Triple "R" Ranch.
