Michael Goodman Obituary
Michael Glenn Goodman, 67, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at Pleasant View Home, Inman, Kansas. He was born on June 20, 1956, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Harold and Betty (Moore) Goodman.
Michael was a 1974 graduate of St. John High School, after which he served the county in the United States Navy. He then worked as a welder at Great Bend Manufacturing, before moving on to a lumber yard in Colorado, working for Haven Steel in Haven, Kansas, and then at Tyson in Hutchinson. He was a member of VFW Post 180 and enjoyed hunting
Survivors include son, Jason Goodman and wife Sherrie of Flemington, New Jersey; two grandsons, Zachery and Aiden Goodman; and two sisters, Connie Kirby of Sterling and Carla Barnes of Hutchinson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Larry and Earl Goodman.
Graveside service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at Great Bend Cemetery, with Pastor Michael Munz presiding. Memorials have been designated to Wounded Warrior Project, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
