Michael Goodson Obituary
Michael “Mickey” D. Goodson, 75, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away January 22, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1949, in Cullman, Alabama to the late James and Ethel Goodson.
Mickey is preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria Goodson, siblings, Bettye Halbrook, Bobbye Hill, James Goodson, and Johnny Goodson and his faithful dog, Buster. He is survived by his brothers, Jack Goodson (Susie) and David Goodson (Melissa), many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Mickey served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for many years as an IT Manager for National Healthcare. He enjoyed playing poker and loved antique cars. Mickey always looked forward to his daily breakfast with friends at Bellwood Diner.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to donate to the North Little Rock Animal Shelter, located at 1 Championship Drive, NLR in honor of Mickey.
